Born on February 21, 1986 in Llandaff, Cardiff, the capital of Wales, in real life Charlotte Maria Reed professionally known as Charlotte Church is a Welsh pop singer who rose to stardom as a classical singer.
At a young age of 3 she first tasted stardom where Church, a natural performer had to be dragged from the stage when she refused to leave during a holiday camp in their area.
Her break came on 1998 where she released her first album Voice Of An Angel which showcased her unique voice in a collection of sacred and traditional pieces. The album went on to sold millions worldwide and made her the youngest artist with a No. 1 selling album to date. Six more albums was released after including her latest, Tissues And Issues, her first fully pop-influenced album which sold 236,000 to date.
In the summer of 2006, Church began to work on her own entertainment TV show - The Charlotte Church Show. The series began on September 1, 2006 on Channel 4 hosted by Charlotte herself and featuring two celebrity guests each week. The show is a mixture of reality TV, interviews, and music. The show continued to date.
