[edit] What is a Wiki?

A wiki is a website any visitor can edit. You could even edit this page by clicking the "edit" link on the third tab above. If you want a place to experiment, please visit the Sandbox.

[edit] What is FaithNoise?

FaithNoise is aimed at creating an online music guide that is comprehensive and free. This site is a wiki and we encourage everyone to contribute. Our goal is to create the largest online music guide that is free for everyone to read and edit.

[edit] Who is responsible for the articles on FaithNoise?

This is a collaborative endeavor so everyone is responsible, including you. Lots of people have contributed information to different parts of this project, and anyone can do so. All you need is to know how to edit a page, and have some music related information you want to share.
You can learn who is responsible for the most recent versions of a page by clicking on the "Page history" link. Nevertheless, if you spot an error in the latest revision of an article, please correct it. If you are uncertain, quote the material on its talk page.

[edit] How do you know if the information is correct?

As anyone can edit any article, it is possible for biased, out of date, or incorrect information to be posted. However, because there are other people reading the articles and monitoring contributions, incorrect information can be corrected quickly. The overall accuracy of FaithNoise is improving as it attracts more and more contributors. You are encouraged to help by correcting and improving articles.
