Raymond Louis Buchanan (born September 29, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American football player, currently a free agent in the NFL. He plays the defensive back position. He graduated from the University of Louisville. He was drafted in 1993 by the Indianapolis Colts in the 3rd round (65th overall). He has also played for the Atlanta Falcons and the Oakland Raiders. He was arrested in Miami on February 1, 2007 on three counts of writing checks without sufficient funds from Nevada.

At Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, Ray Buchanan was a four-year letterman in football as a running back and safety. Buchanan was also a state champion in two track and field events, the long jump and the triple jump.

Ray Buchanan made a Christian rap music album in 2002 which was received well by fans of rap music because it had styles similar to the music of popular artists such as Diddy and Will Smith. The name of the album is Ray Buchanan and was produced by Blake Knight of Ill Harmonics (BEC Recordings).
As well as music interests, Buchanan also works for Fox Sports Radio on the weekend and co-hosts alongside Bruce Jacobs.
